Join VDLC for the Day of Mourning on April 28
Circulated on behalf of VDLC
On April 28 each year we come together to remember those who were killed on the job, and to recommit to working to ensure that every worker goes home safe at the end of every shift. Although we cannot gather to mark this important date in person this year, we are co-sponsoring a Day of Mourning ceremony online along with the WCB, the BC Federation of Labour, and the Business Council of BC. We will also hear from Minister of Labour, Honourable Harry Bains, and from speakers who have been impacted by a workplace death or serious injury.
Join us on April 28 at 10:30 am for a moment of silence and a video event at www.dayofmourning.bc.ca
Mourn for the dead, fight for the living.
In solidarity,
