2025 National Day of Mourning – BC Ceremonies and Events
Dear KFA Colleagues,
Monday, April 28th, 2025 is the National Day of Mourning: a solemn day to honour workers who have been killed, injured, or made ill as a result of their jobs. It is a moment to grieve for the lives lost, recognize the suffering of those left behind, and renew our shared commitment to creating safer, healthier workplaces for all.

This year, the BC Federation of Labour will co-host a Day of Mourning ceremony at Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver.
