Because of migrant organizing, Prime Minister Trudeau has instructed the Minister of Immigration to create a regularization program (give Permanent Resident status to undocumented people). Parliament has also unanimously called for a plan to be tabled by September 8th 2022 to “allow workers of all skill levels permanent residency.” Life-changing rules that will open the door to citizenship for all migrants including undocumented people are on the horizon. But we must make sure that no one is left behind. Add your name to call for status for all.
