National Indigenous History Month June 15th event

Delegates, friends and community allies! You are invited to join the NWDLC Indigenous Standing Committee for a celebration marking National Indigenous History Month.

We are honoured to begin with an opening by Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Elders Sam and Les George, followed by bannock and light refreshments.

Come ready to learn and participate in Indigenous and Métis arts, crafts and music.

**The drum making workshop is full**

    • Beadmaking
    • Wool weaving
    • Making indigenous oils with local plants (Hank Williams from Səl̓ilwətaɁɬ təməxʷ First Nation) 

Everyone is welcome to this all ages event, registration in advance is required to ensure there are enough supplies.
