New West & District Labour Council Forms an Indigenous Standing Committee

Dear Delegates and Local Union Officers,

The New Westminster & District Labour Council is pleased to announce that at our January 26, 2022 regular meeting the following motion was adopted unanimously:

“MSC the New Westminster & District Labour Council form an Indigenous Standing Committee: that the Committee will meet at least once every three months as required in our Standing Committee Policy.”

The inaugural meeting of the NWDLC Indigenous Standing Committee will be held virtually on February 11, 2022 at 6:00pm.
