Rally for ILWU Local 400: Marine Workers

Please join ILWU Local 400 Marine Section and General Workers on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in support as we rally for marine workers in the Port of Vancouver. The Port of Vancouver invited Group Ocean to BC to start a race to the bottom for wages and conditions.

Join us at Lions Park as we rally together and march over to the Port of Vancouver Community Office where they are hosting a community engagement day.  We need to show the Port of Vancouver and employers that the ILWU ports and our labour have made the port the economic engine for Canada that it is today.  Please help us stop the attack on our wages, conditions and opportunities by a Quebec based company flying out Quebec workers to undermine the generations of hard work by ILWU Local 400 Marine Section members.

Wear your ILWU gear and bring flags, banners and signs. We are fighting to save our future and I ask you to help us fight for our jobs.

We need you to rally your members, make them aware and have them join us in our fight!
