Make Noise Rally

As you have seen in the previous KFA communications on the proposed 2019/20 KPU Budget, there are areas of our institution that have been targeted for section/intake cancellations.  These areas include Music, Health Unit Coordinator program, Human Resource Management Post Bacc program, Public Relations program, Fashion Design and Foundations in Design programs.

As part of the response to this move from the KPU Senior Administration, the music students, in concert with the Kwantlen Student Association, are organizing a “Make Noise Rally”:

Sunday, March 24th at 2 PM

Douglas Park in Langley

Spirit Square

(20550 Douglas Crescent, Langley) 

KPU music students will play, as well as members of Kwantlen First Nations.  Some speakers will have an opportunity to speak to the importance of the Music program to our students and our community. 

A large turnout will help send the message that these cuts are not acceptable. We invite you to show support by participating in this event. 

Let’s send a clear message to the Administration. Show up, and make your voice heard!
