Make Post-Secondary Education a BC Election Issue: Build BC Smarter Rally
On October 15, 2026, post-secondary educators, students, staff, and community members gathered on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery to send a clear message: post-secondary education must be a priority in British Columbia.
The rally called on candidates in the provincial election to commit to reinvesting in BC’s knowledge economy, stopping cuts, and making colleges and universities a priority in communities across the province.
The videos below capture moments from the rally, including the people, messages, and calls to action behind this effort to make post-secondary education a central issue in the provincial election.
