Speakers Tour 2025: Human Rights & Artificial Intelligence Online Webinar

Dear Colleagues, 

Your Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA) is a member of the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC (FPSE-BC). As your KFA-FPSE Human Rights and International Solidarity Committee (HRISC) Representative, I am pleased to announce that we have finalized plans for one Speakers Tour 2025 event coming up on Thursday, March 20th (10:30-12:30am PT). The focus of our first event is on Artificial Intelligence (AI), human rights + education. 

Our second Speakers Tour 2025 event, which we are still finalizing plans for, is currently slated for Monday, April 7th (4-6pm PT), and will be a panel discussion with the co-directors of the film, The Path Forward, by Mo Husseini and Julie Cohen.  We are working on arrangements and hoping that KFA/FPSE members will be able to freely access the film over the first weekend of April via an online sign-up site.  Details will be forthcoming.
